A message from Mary Brown

I would like to thank everyone who came to my retirement party.  I also want to thank all of those who contributed to the wonderful gifts I was given.  I was honoured to receive a Star Blanket from Priscilla and Lawrence Joseph and a Guardian Angel from Little Red Reserve Congregation.  But most of all I want to thank all of you for your love and prayers.  Over the years I know you have prayed for me, when my father died, my hip replacement, my son’s death, my bout with cancer, fractured back, shoulder and leg.  It is a great comfort to know that on a Sunday everyone is praying for your recovery.  Without all of your prayers my life would have been empty.  I also have been blessed to not only have one great boss but when he left my  next boss was just as great as the first one and to have a caring and supportive staff to work with in the synod office.  I am grateful and overwhelmed to receive so much love.
