The Diocese of Saskatchewan has a large archive of historical information, rare books (many from the 19th century) and church records (including baptism, marriage and death records). The Diocese of Saskatchewan's boundaries in the 19th and early 20th century stretched from Northern Manitoba to the Rocky Mountains. The Archives is used by its staff, members of the church, genealogical researchers and the general public interested in the history of Western Canada, and especially North and central Saskatchewan. This archive is one of the oldest and most significant in the province. Its importance has been recognized by grants from the Saskatchewan Archives Council and the Canadian Council of Archives.
